Discover surfskating

Surfskate was invented in 1995 in Venice Beach, California by two surfers who were bored due to the lack of waves in the ocean. After trying skateboarding and not finding the same satisfaction they experienced in the waves, they decided to create the first surfskate, the Carver. Surfskating, also known as street surfing, is a discipline of skateboarding that aims to replicate the movements of surfing on land, giving surfers the opportunity to maintain and improve their technique when they are not in the water.

How to start Surfskating?
Learning to surfskate is generally easier for adults who are new to the sport compared to traditional skateboarding. Surfskates are designed to provide more stability, making it easier for beginners to find their balance. However, for children, especially those who are smaller in stature, it can be more challenging as it requires leg strength to generate movement through pumping.
